Will Power Booster
You’re sure you’re going to do it this time. Absolutely convinced. And your will power holds out for a day or so. Somehow, some way, your brain talks you into forgetting your commitment and your will power evaporates. Poof! Gone – like a frog in front of Harry Potter’s wand. There is an old Chinese proverb which says: ‘Great souls have wills; feeble ones have only wishes.’ Will power is what propels ideas into reality. But as you know, will power can be overcome by mysterious forces that make you forget why you originally committed to a goal. What you need to do is communicate to the deeper part of you that you really want to achieve what you set out to do. Boosting your will power in this part of your mind – your subconscious – will make things so much easier. You are educating your instincts to come into line with your conscious thoughts, and getting your whole mind to ‘pull together’. Think the strength of your will as a laser like beam of ‘intentional focus.’ All great plans and projects begin within the imagination but it is the strength of your will that brings them to fruition. Hypnosis can increase the power of your will because hypnosis also uses a narrowed focus of attention.
‘Will power’ is an interesting concept. You will hear many people bemoaning the fact that they don’t have enough will power to achieve what they want to achieve, but relatively few will really address the question of how you go about boosting your will power. A relatively short induction leads the client through a simple and natural process of relaxation designed to establish an optimum learning state in the brain. For really good learning to occur, all extraneous distractions have to be excluded from attention.
